It all started in 1999. Philippe Deschemin was studying psychology and sociology and decided to found his own band. He was strongly influenced by the original industrial scene (SPK, Esplendor Geometrico ...), cold wave and gothic music (The Cure, Fields Of The Nephilim …) and industrial metal (Marilyn Manson, KMFDM …) . The first demo (2002) contained underground hits like "Soft Machine - Porn Machine" and "The Fee".

From the very beginning the concept was simple: to create aggressive, sexy, powerful, dark and dangerous music. Something like a beautiful fruit with a razor blade inside. The aim was always to get closer to reality, to lay it on the line and to start creating a lifetimes work.

The name of the band is a tribute payed to The Cure's iconic album "Pornography" and a way to express the radicalism of Philippe's thoughts.

PORN released their first album "Glitter Danger And Toy Boyz" in 2005 and the EP "Call Me Superfurry" one year later featuring the famous cover of the Blondie's song "Call Me".

In this wake, the band signed a contract in Germany and released a new version including the first album and the EP, the project was named "Call Me Superfurry". The band hit the road to promote the album with ASP. MGM released the same version in Australia in 2005.

In 2009, Philippe was free of any contracts and set up his own music label. As the two previous albums were sold out and in order to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the band, he released "A Decade In Glitter And Danger".

In 2011, the second studio album "From The Void To The Infinite" came out featuring the very popular song "Love Like War".

Once he got the band back on track, Philippe took the time to write a SF novel "Contoyen" and two short stories.

In 2015, PORN released "Deconstruct", an album full of cover songs (The Cult, The Beatles, The Cure) and remixes.

In 2016, Philippe started to record the first album of his new band AN EROTIC END OF TIMES together with Erwan Frugier (PORN-guitarist from 2004 to 2006). The band present dark music with gothic-rock and industrial metal influences. In 2017, the first album "Chapter One" has been released on Les Disques du Rubicon / Echozone, distributed by Soulfood Music in Europe.

At the same time, Philippe has started recording and mixing "The Ogre Inside", the third PORN-album which - being composed in France, Austria, Belgium and Denmark - is going to mark an important milestone for the band.
The sound and the style is darker and hits harder as Philippe returns to his grim world. The concept of the album is based of "Contoyen" - Philippe's novel - and will be released in fall 2017.

Besides his muscial and literary career, Philippe is a visiting lecturer on political philosophy at the Université populaire du Pays Viennois (France) and also works as a journalist and publisher.
